From 2K Game, 2K pairs NBA2K16 with Friday Night Live youth basketball program.
Hot the heels of announcing that Australia’s Boomers are going to be part of NBA2K16, 2K games has just announced a cool new sponsorship deal with the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence. The company will be sponsoring a regular Friday Night Live program.
“Australian consumers are some of our most passionate fans. We’ve already given them the Boomers in NBA 2K17, now it’s time to give something back to the community,” said Alfie Brody, Vice President of Marketing for NBA 2K, in today’s release.
Kirstie Parker, CEO of NCIE followed up, “NCIE is delighted to be working with 2K. Their sponsorship of the “Friday Night Live” program means we can host more young people, put on more workshops and – of course – we can now play NBA 2K in our very own Gaming Lounge!”
2K is even hoping to get some Australian Olympians along to the Friday night events, which will be structured around training and three-on-three competitions. The first Friday Night Live event takes place tomorrow night, at the NCIE in Redfern.
Additionally, the program aimed at indigenous youth aged 12-18 years. More 2K information focus on our site.
